Inter-Building Wireless LAN, Agricultural Process Control Access

A shortage of high speed internet access prompted the building of an external Wireless LAN connecting 5 buildings together to share the one and only high speed internet access point. Commercial grade radios and antennas proved highspeed access for all the sub-lans in each building while providing a single point of protection for all the workstations.  The longest leg of the Wireless connection was about 1 kilometer.  High levels of wireless security were implemented. Green house environmental control system access was provided with remote support capability.
